I’m hoping you can see the jellyfish in the first picture. 

Ellie drew one, and then told me it was my turn to draw one. The first time, apparently I didn’t do it right (how does one draw a jellyfish wrong?) because i was told “that isn’t very good, mom”. Nice…an art critic at 3. That one does a lot for my ego. 

I guess it’s a good thing that Evan didn’t try to get in on the jellyfish art. His art skills are still developing and I would have hated to hear her “constructive criticism” in that case.

His art consists more of straight lines…or performance art…running around and throwing the chalk. That’s art right?
