This picture should explain to you what’s been consuming a lot of our time lately.
It’s also a darn good excuse for not blogging. I’m going to take it. Yes, I’ve been lazy…but it’s hard to sit down and commit to anything for more than a couple of minutes when you have a little one deciding he has to go potty that frequently.
Nathan says he doesn’t really think he has to go all that often…more like, he knows when he goes, he gets a “chocolate treat” and his mouth has run out of chocolate.
He’s probably right.
I think I ate both breakfast and lunch in the bathroom, while sitting on the footstool waiting for him to go, today. Good news – I ate less than I normally do. Something about eating in the bathroom really shuts off the appetite. Hey – new diet plan. I should write a book.
Wish us luck. Lots of luck.
Wish us patience. Lots of that too.
Wish us sanity. We’re already partway gone on this one.
We’ll get through it. I don’t think potty training has ever killed anyone.
I did get a precious phone call tonight at work.
From my 2-year-old.
Telling me he went potty.
A-dorable.
(And FYI…He also told me about the chocolate treat he got for doing it!)

Yeah!! You’re going to have to give tips…write a book, k? I mean you don’t have anything better to do….:) Tips on how to potty train!! And with chocolate none the less. I will admit, I don’t know if the chocolate with make it to the kid:) I am pretty selfish on my chocolate. Good to hear the family is still o its toes…lol.
