I don’t know about any of you…but I find that when it comes to a kid’s birthday party, I tend to have to try to have everything be perfect. For me, this includes making and decorating the cake.
My question, does someone turning 2 really care what the cake looks like as long as it slightly resembles cookie monster? Answer – probably not…but that didn’t stop me from having bad dreams for weeks about using the “hair” decorating tip for the first time.
I’d like to say, even though his hair isn’t even all the way around the cake, I think I did a pretty darn good job! I’m patting myself on the back today…because this weekend I passed my mommy test.

And, she looks pretty happy…I even think she knew who it was!
