in Ev’s opinion…
one thing Grandma should always have on hand…

cookies, lots and lots of cookies.

this picture was too cute not to post.

taken while they were both riding on their horse’s (uncle Nathan/daddy’s) back. He’s such a good sport.
so, my excuse is real…
Christmas is coming…Thursday, its coming. I’ve been busy…
I’m really excited about the things we’re making for Christmas…I would love to show them to you, but since a lot of family read the blog…won’t be showing any…at least not until January…and then more than likely, I’ll have forgotten.
I’ve decided I’m really excited for Thanksgiving this year…most years…but this year especially.
Why, you ask? (pretend you did)
family…get to see all of my family…both sisters, their families, mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, my aunt, AND cousins.
turkey…
potatoes…
football…
most of all, I get to show off my son’s new talent…
I learned yesterday that he likes pumpkin pie…a lot. He picked up his plate after eating it, and licked it.
And His new word…
Pie.
I love, love tip junkie’s website.
I get a lot of my good crafting ideas from her site…and I get inspired. These good ideas don’t just sit in my mind’s vault.
I love her.
On that note…she’s having a 12 days of junkie in celebration of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

Did I mention I love her site?
Love. It.
An Update…my father in law asked me this weekend for the website…maybe he’ll become a tip junkie too!
Halloween was very fun this year at our house…
not only did the costumes turn out pretty good…

but we also managed to get a picture of the kids together…and believe me, this took some doing.

There was also much candy to be had…much, too much.
although he doesn’t really understand what candy is…the boy knew that if it was put in his pumpkin, it had to be good.
We couldn’t get the candy bag away from him. I really thought he was going to have to sleep with it. Silly boy.
