the “easter bunny” visited Ellie the other night and left eggs in our yard. (The eggs were really from Grandma and Grandpa Friesen, but Ellie kept telling us they were from the Easter Bunny.)

What a time she had. The bunny hid most of them in the open, figuring it would still take a while for her to find them…little did we know that she’s a better “finder” than we thought…she whipped right through that egg hunt!

After the hunt was done, we went inside to the table to open the eggs…from the moment she found the first one, she was excited that there was something in them.

They apparently make the little suckers hard to open. Her expression tells me she’s putting in a lot of effort to open that one little egg.

On a side note…ever since the hunt, she keeps looking out onto our deck and saying “i don’t see any more eggs yet.” I keep telling her that maybe the Easter bunny will visit grandma’s house. I hope grandma is reading this!

We saw the Easter bunny at Wal-Mart today…in the cereal aisle. He gave her a chocolate egg and she blew him a kiss. I think she has a new friend for life!
